Enter a reading to see where it sits in the standard categories. Ideally use your seven-day average rather than a single measurement.
Blood Pressure Category Checker
Places a reading into the standard categories — ideally your seven-day average, not a single measurement.
Measure properly or the number means little: no caffeine, exercise or smoking for 30 minutes, empty your bladder, then sit quietly for five minutes with your back supported, feet flat and arm at heart level. Cuff on bare skin, correctly sized, and do not talk. Take two readings a minute apart, morning and evening for seven days, and average them. This tool classifies a number — it does not diagnose. Only a clinician can do that.
